About Me

Anne Fishman
As the president of .edu integrated marketing—a full-service consulting firm serving educational institutions, nonprofits, and the service industry—I spend most of my time thinking about marketing communications and public relations— and helping high school seniors get into college, I live in the Boston area and higher education is big business here; always in the news. I am fascinated by the interplay between the press and higher education and how—despite great efforts and expense on the part of institutions—schools remain so vulnerable. This blog is a behind the scenes look at how colleges and universities act and react. I follow how they are portrayed in the media, respond to events and challenges, and treat their constituencies.
